Rules

1. 1Each participant must machine the assigned component individually.
2. 2The given drawing and dimensions must be followed.
3. 3Only the designated lathe and approved tools may be used.
4. 4Required PPE must be worn throughout machining.
5. 5Safe machine-operating procedures must be followed.
6. 6Unauthorised assistance is prohibited.
7. 7Participants must not operate machinery in an unsafe manner.
8. 8Measurements must be performed using permitted instruments.
9. 9Work must be completed within the allotted time.
10. 10Final dimensions will be checked by the inspection team.
11. 11Participants must wear shoes to join the competition.
12. 12Judging: surface finish (uniformity and smoothness of the final product); accuracy (adherence to specified dimensions); handling (tool handling and workmanship); time efficiency (completion within the shortest possible time).
