Rules

1. 1Each team must use its own robot unless otherwise specified.
2. 2Robot dimensions, weight, power supply, and component restrictions must comply with event specifications.
3. 3The robot must pass technical inspection before competing.
4. 4Testing and modifications are allowed only during the permitted time.
5. 5Manual control is prohibited during an autonomous challenge.
6. 6Unauthorised external communication or control is prohibited.
7. 7Teams may restart only according to the announced restart rules.
8. 8Deliberate interference with another team's robot results in disqualification.
9. 9Time penalties may be imposed for collisions, leaving the track, or specified violations.
10. 10Robot specifications: the dimensions of the bot must not exceed 30 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm at any point during the game (5% tolerance).
11. 11Wired bots are allowed.
12. 12The weight of the bot should not exceed 5 kg (5% tolerance). The maximum voltage of the battery and across any two points of the circuit should not exceed 16.8 V.
13. 13The bot can have 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. Robot-making kits can be used. IC engines are not permitted.
14. 14The robot must be mechanically and electrically safe.
15. 15Judging: speed, accuracy, autonomous performance, reliability, and robot design.
16. 16The final score will be based on the total completion time, including penalty time.
17. 17Penalties: minor track deviation / boundary touch +5s; touching or displacing an obstacle +5s; missing a checkpoint +10s; robot completely leaving the designated track +10s; manual assistance to the robot +10s; any other major rule violation +10s.
18. 18The team with the minimum total time (completion time + penalty time) will be declared the winner.
19. 19Entry fee: Rs.300 per team. Robo Rally is not included in any pass.
